About Dr. Shanon

Shanon Sidell is a healthcare provider (for people) and an animal lover. She is deeply committed to caring for the body, mind, and spirit of pets.

Using her knowledge of medicine, she is versed in providing prescribed physical therapy, and administering medications and injections.

Ongoing training with Fear Free Shelters and working in animal rescue helps her understand the psychology of our fur friends.

Her compassion for animals offers a level of love and care that respects each pet as its autonomous self.

Her first petsitting experience was at the young age of 10 or 11 (it's hard to remember so far back!) when she took care of her neighbors' cats. She continued caring for animals even when she moved to Alaska for college, Norway for theatre work, and Seattle for graduate school.

She has been living and petsitting in Hawaii for 25 years, making it possible for pet owners to travel, knowing that their animal companions and home are well looked after and safe.
